As of February 15th, 2018, the WWE came to terms on the release of Superstar, Rich Swann.
For those unaware, on December 10th, 2017, Rich Swann was arrested in Georgia on charges of battery, and kidnapping/false imprisonment, and the victim in question was his wife, Vannarah Riggs, better known as Su Yung, also a Professional Wrestler. The cause for the incident allegedly stems from Riggs critiquing Swanns performance that night, which then escalated to the events that occurred.
The charges were eventually dropped on January 25th, 2018, as there was not enough evidence to follow through with the case. While his fans looked at that as a victory, and a return may have been planned, he was released anyway, reinforcing the WWE's strict Zero Tolerance policy for these type of issues.
