Album # 1
"I Was Depressed Until I Made This" by Kembe X
Why you should check it out:
IWDUIMT is a great hip hop album full of punchlines, wordplay, attitude and a sound that will intrigued new school fans as well as fans of the mid 2000s RnB Hiphop wave. It deff for me hooked my first listen.

Album # 2
"A Eulogy For Those Still Here" by Counterparts
Why you should check it out:
An emotional and intense release utilizing themes of death and depression. This album had strong vibes of late 2000s metalcore classics. Probably the most well mixed metal album I've heard in years.
Favorite track:
"Bound To The Burn"

Album # 3
"Dark Sun" by Dayseeker
Why you should check it out:
Dayseeker gives it down a tad to really set the mood for this heartfelt release full of songs where the vocalist is mourning the death of his father. It hit me hard but god damn is this a great album.
Favorite track:
"Homesick"

Album #4
"Magno Interitus" by CABAL
Why you should check it out:
A incredible blend of deathmetal and "core" genres. Masterful guitar work, fast paced drums and crazy climactic builds. In my opinion this is an album that any metalhead could enjoy.
Favorite track:
"Exsanguination"

Album #5
"Isolationists" by Bermuda
Why you should check it out:
A short 17 minute release of just straight up ass beating music. Bermuda was integral in the 2010s deathcore wave and this is deff their must well put together album in my opinion.
Favorite track:
"Lifelines"

Album #6
"Remember That You Will Die" by Polyphia
Why you should check it out:
When it comes instrumental bands hell bands in general I don't think anyone has mastered their craft quite like Polyphia and this album as crazy as it is builds greatly to the beautiful pay off of "Ego Death" with Steve Vai
Favorite track:
"Ego Death"
