"Genghis Tron" Reunites and Releases New Music Video Off Of Upcoming Album

Remember back like 12 or 13 years ago New Yorks chaotic trio Genghis Tron slated their own innovative upbeat sound utilizing synths and drum machines and built their reputation on two albums showcasing it. The first being 2006 "Dead Mountain Youth" and their second, 2008’s Board Up The House, is an which is what most fans know of them. Well, In 2010 the band announced an indefinite hiatus. The hiatus has ended.
This new updated version of Genghis Tron no longer includes frontman Mookie Singerman. Instead, old bandmates Hamilton Jordan and Michael Sochynsky have brought in new singer Tony Wolski of experimental hardcore project The Armed. Not only that but Genghis Tron now, for the first time ever, have a drummer, and that drummer is SICK. Nick Yacyshyn the man who's crushing it in bands like Sumac and Baptists.

The new album is said to be an 8 track album coming out some time this year. If 2020 was the year bands announced reunion tours (that never happened) 2021 should be the year we get come back albums.
